Sarah, of northern Virginia, was born into the equine profession and began her riding career at her parents farm in Marshall, VA. Her mother, Jan Green was an upper level event rider competing in Rolex and participating in the 1988 Olympics. Sarah's father, Steve Green, was an influential horsemen competing in Steeplechasing as a jockey and trainer, advanced level eventing, and was an avid foxhunter.
Rich with influential instruction from the start, Sarah developed her skill sets in an array of different disciplines. Beginning her riding development under her parents guidance and the instruction, knowledge, and riding based testing from the USPC. At a young age, she began riding in the hunter ring before moving on to the jumpers. In addition, she competed in pony club rallies, eventing, hunter paces, team chases, foxhunting, and eventually found herself steeplechasing, with a need for speed, all before the age of 18. After college and moving back from California, in 2018, she returned to her professional riding career and took over her families facility in Virginia to run her show jumping operation. Sarah has always enjoyed participating in clinics with some of the sports best names and enjoys cross training and applying new techniques and ideas to her program. Her foundation from multi-discipline training raised the platform of her riding and training and lent itself to the gift of being a true horsemen. Drawing from a multitude of backgrounds, she has been able to transform horses from all walks of life into healthy, happy, and suitable mounts. She has developed and produced horses from beginning to end and continues to produce young horses from the ground up and through to the 1.40 levels. She also enjoys running her own boutique breeding program with intention to develop each foal from thought to action.
Sarah has an unwavering dedication to Thoroughbreds, as a lifelong rider, trainer, and facilitator of performance. She intends to level the playing field and chase the high flying heels of the sports dominators, aboard a Thoroughbred Sporthorse made from scratch.

We are a Hunter/Jumper training center and sales barn, led by Sarah Green, located just south of Scottsville, VA. Our training programs focus on the essence of each individual horse and the art of fundamentals to provide the confidence and etiquette required to progress throughout their careers. We produce quality young horses for all levels of showing and sales. We are also a boutique breeding operation with a focus on matching premium imported mares with top jumping stallions.
Our 204 acre facility boasts of charm and class. Featuring a 100x200 sand outdoor arena, miles of trails with river access, hills for fitness, natural hunt country fences, ample turnout with run-ins, automatic waterers, and a gorgeous center aisle barn. Our main barn features seven 12x12 stalls, hot and cold wash rack, heated and air-conditioned tack room/lounge and feed room. Our second barn offers four foaling stalls at 20x24 each. Turnout options for show horses offer single or two horse turnout. Non-showing horses and young horses turnout in group settings.
